At LNBC, our members are like family. We care for one another, and we care for those in our community. A primary way we minister on an ongoing basis to one another and to those around us is through our CARE Ministry.

Every Tuesday, volunteers gather in the Fellowship Hall to pray, send cards, place phone calls, or make personal visits to those who have special needs or who have recently visited our church for the first time. 

A free meal is served at 5:30 pm and CARE Activities begin at 6:00 pm. All are invited to participate, and free childcare is provided. 

Our CARE Ministry also encompasses special mission projects that are performed on behalf of those inside and outside of our church. Would you like to be involved in one of the most important ministries at LNBC?  Come join us this Tuesday night!

CARE Activities: Outreach & Inreach Ministry

(All ages participate, childcare services for kids <6)

  • Call people who have visited our church and thank them for visiting.  Answer any questions they may have.
  • Teams of 2 or more make personal visits to those who have attended our church.
  • Prepare cards and send them to visitors and people in our church that are in need of prayer, absent from worship or Sunday School Class, send Birthday/Anniversary Cards, send Get Well cards, invitations to Sunday School class, etc.

KidCARE:  All Children (K-5)

  • KidCARE allows children to actively participate in this ministry by making cards for church members who have birthdays and anniversaries during the upcoming week.

  • “KidCARE” needs adults to serve once per month. All supplies are provided.

LNBC Prayer Ministry

Prayer Room:  Building C, Room 208.  Open anytime for private or group prayer.

CARE Group Prayer on Tuesdays 6PM.

Our purpose is to encourage the people of LNBC to come together and share the love of Jesus with our community and members of LNBC through personal visitation, phone calls, sending notes, and prayer.  The CARE:Mission Possible ministry was born of the biblical mandate and example of Jesus for God's people to demonstrate His love to all people, this ministry empowers and mobilizes believers in a hands-on, one-day, community mission blitz.  DC4K's is a church-based program for children (ages 5-12) struggling with the hurt and pain of divorce and separation.
