"Mission Possible" is an annual, one-day hands-on mission blitz in the Lake Norman community. Hundreds of volunteers fron LNBC join together to work in a variety of mission projects to assist the needy in the Lake Norman area. Mission Possible takes place on a Saturday in either April or May. 

Give:
Freely you have received, freely give.

Serve:
Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.
Ephesians 6:7

Here is a partial list of community mission projects in which YOU can participate:

  • Laundromat Ministry
  • Nursing Home Ministry
  • Yard work/landscaping
  • Adopt-a-Family for the day
  • Habitat for Humanity projects
  • Car wash to benefit benevolence and local missions
  • Kids' Sports/Cheer Clinic in local impoverished neighborhood
  • And many more...

  • Solomon House - A faith-based community center whose mission is to provide holistic health ministries and to serve as a clearinghouse for knowledge of and access to health information and community resources.  Hours: M-Thurs 8:30am-4:30 p.m. Location: 200 S. Main Street, Huntersville.  Call for more information or volunteer opportunities (704) 875-7727 

  • Lydia’s Loft - Provides free clothing items to needy residents of the North Mecklenburg & South Iredell region and creates a donation facility for benevolent area residents who want donated clothing items to be used within their own community. Hours: Tuesdays 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesdays 6-8 pm. and Thursdays 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. A referral is needed and can be obtained from the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson at (704)896-0471or The Solomon House at (704) 875-7727in Huntersville.  Lydia’s Loft is always in need of donations and volunteers!
  • Merry Meals Ministry - A food ministry at Lake Norman Baptist Church providing meals to members who have been hospitalized due to illness, have a newborn baby, or had a death in their immediate family. Upon notification at our church office, word is passed on to members who happily prepare dishes making up complete meals for those in need. Merry Meals Ministry feels this is one way to show others we are thinking of them with love and care.
