Rev. Hal Brown, Minister of Pastoral Care at Lake Norman
Baptist Church in Huntersville, recently completed a
Pastoral Care Specialist Training Program at Presbyterian
Hospital in Charlotte, concentrating on principles of
pastoral care, diagnosis and referral. He participated in
real-life case studies dealing with marriage and family,
loss and grief, ethical problems, spiritual issues and other
challenges faced in a care-giving role.
Hal is now recognized as a Pastoral Care Specialist (PCS)
by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. He is
available to assist those who face times of crisis and
