Recently showcased on NBC’s “Sing-off”, this amazing seventeen-member group is characterized by a unique variety of lush vocal harmonies, high-energy numbers, and heart-felt gospel favorites. Online Leadership Conference is September 9th
“The Nines”, sponsored by The Leadership Network, Thursday, September 9th for nine hours beginning at 11:30 am. You can watch live from your computer. You'll find a great mix of speakers - including Rick Warren and Craig Groeschel – all of whom have been chosen by Leadership Network because they have something significant to share. The theme is "Game Changers" - each speaker will be sharing the one thing that has really been a game changer in their life and ministry. “Exceptional Women” - Women’s Event is September 10th
The LNBC Women’s Ministry invites you to become an “exceptional woman”, Friday, September 10th, 6:30-8:30 pm in the gym. Childcare and doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10 and childcare is $5. Come enjoy catered dinner from Carrabba's, worship music, and special guest speaker Jodie Chetwood. Awana Begins Sunday September 12th
Awana, for age 3 thru 5th grade, is Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 pm, September 12 thru mid-May. If you have not already registered your child, please download a registration form here, and bring it with you on the 12th.
Awana leaders are still needed for this year. If you would like to serve, please plan to attend the Awana Leaders Meeting on Wednesday, September 8th, 6:00-7:00 pm, in the Fellowship Hall.
Baptismal Service is September 12th
In the chapel during the 11:00 service. The baptismal service will be simulcast into the Worship Center.
Men’s Prayer Group Begins September 12th
Every other Sunday, 5:00 pm, 2nd floor of Building D (room may vary), begins September 12th. Contact Charles McLeod here or at 704-241-2119. Come join us for coffee, fellowship, and prayer. After each prayer gathering, a recap of the event will be sent via e-mail. Please contact Charles so that you can put on the weekly “Knee-Mail” distribution, so if you can’t be with us, you can join us in prayer on your schedule. You can also send Charles your prayer requests and they will be added to the ongoing list.

Fall Parenting Seminar Begins September 15th
Effective Parenting in a Defective World, by Chip Ingram, Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm, beginning September 15th, Club J Room. Raising children is a tough challenge in today's world. Angels of ’97 Golf Tournament is September 17th
Friday, September 17th at Birkdale Golf Course. Registration begins at 12:30 pm, Shotgun Start at 2:00 pm. Captains Choice. Following the tournament, there will be an awards presentation, raffle, and buffet dinner. The fee is $150, which includes dinner. LifeWalk 2010 is September 25th
The 19th annual LifeWalk 2010 is Saturday, September 25th. This year's theme is LIFE, protect it! This is a great opportunity to involve the entire family in supporting our local Mooresville Community Pregnancy Center by being "pro-active" about being "pro-life." Haiti Mission Trip - September 19-25, 2010
Metrolina Baptist Association is working with NC Baptist Men to send a group to Haiti - with both medical and construction volunteers. The cost is $1100 per person. Partial scholarships available. Prayer for Multisite Initiative

Soup Kitchen and Women’s Ministry

New Members Class
LNBC has a New Members Class for anyone interested in joining our church. The class is also available to anyone who is already a church member who wants to learn more about our church or the Baptist faith. The class meets on the third Sunday of every month from 8:45-11:45 am on the third floor of Building D (Youth Loft), and is followed by a free lunch with LNBC staff. Whether you are a potential church member or a current one, you may sign up for the class here.
