Children's Ministry  at Lake Norman Baptist

Lake Norman Baptist Church wants to assist families in leading their Children to know Jesus Christ.  We do this in a friendly, safe and fun way centering around the Bible.

Children's Sunday School Classes

Every Sunday we offer age appropriate, Bible learning experiences and related activities in our Children’s Sunday School Classes.  Here is our schedule and location for the following hours:

Loaves and Fishes donations on Months with 5 Sundays

Please bring nonperishable food items, in a brown paper bag, to be taken to the Loaves and Fishes office in Huntersville.  Baskets for the food bags are in the Sunday School Rooms. 

Children’s Church

Our Children’s Church program here at Lake Norman Baptist Church is for children 4 to 6 years old who are attending worship service with their family during the 9:45 or 11:00 service. Our mission is to provide an active and meaningful worship service in a more appropriate, child-friendly environment where young children have fun & can make a “joyful noise” while learning about God and his Son, Jesus Christ.
 

Our curriculum is “Hands on Bible” from Group Publishing. This curriculum allows young children to learn through true “hands-on” activities that help them remember the important Bible lessons that are shared each service. We believe children need to enjoy worshipping God through music, stories, crafts, wiggles & laughter!

 
Come join us for a wonderful experience in the FLC Room 212. Immediately following service you may get your child.
 

CLUB J **Looking for volunteers to help teach at 9:45 hour! - email here!

Club J is during the 9:45 and the 11:00 Service.  We offer Kid’s Worship Service for 1^st through 4^th graders.  The kids all go to the Worship Center in the FLC at the beginning of service and beginning service with their parents. Before Dr. Blanton starts his service, then the Kid’s  are dismissed to the back of the church where they are taken to their own service - in the Student Center Building.  During this time, the kids will be lead in there own fellowship worship with bible stories, putting the bible and teachings into life application, games, and activities.  The children should be picked up by whoever brought them immediately following service.  Every child has to be signed out by someone 16 years or older.

Summer Playgroup

Need something to do during the summer months? Join some LNBC members with their kids on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the summer months for fun places to go.  Meet new people, fellowship, enjoy group rates at educational and fun places in our area - and little further away!  Kids of all ages welcome!  Please check back in April of 2008 for information regarding Summer Playgroup. 

Centri-Kid offers a quality Christian camp experience for children who have completed Grades 3 – 6, combining quality worship with age-appropriate activities designed – from start to finish – to reach children with the message of Jesus Christ.  Lake Norman Baptist Church will be attending Centri-Kid at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC from Monday, June 16th to Friday, June 20th of 2008.
