Please Note: There will only be two services on Sunday, May 27th. The speical memorial service will be at 8:30 and 10:00am. Sunday School will run on its regular schedule of 8:30 and 9:45.

Vacation Bible School is one of LNBC’s largest outreach programs, hosting an average of 400 people every year. Our VBS is unique, offering sessions for ages 3 to adult.

It takes 150+ volunteers to help run VBS, ranging from teachers, assistants, crafts, recreation, security, traffic guides, and missions leaders. If the Lord is calling you to serve in one of these areas, even if it’s only for a few hours, please attend one of the volunteer meetings on either May 20th or June 3rd.

We look forward to another great year!

Celebrate Calm Workshop

Get Real Help That Will Change Your Family Immediately! Celebrate Calm and stop defiance, yelling, and sibling fights.

LNBC is offering a free event featuring America’s Calm Coach, Kirk Martin and his son, Casey. This event will address issues on how to:

stop the yelling and power struggles
eliminate defiance, disrespect, and sibling fights
improve focus, attention, and behavior in school
create stress-free mornings, homework time, and bedtime

This workshop is perfect for parents and teachers of toddler, teens, and all ages.

Join us on Thursday, May 24th in the LNBC Chapel in Celebrating Calm. Two classes are being offered at 10:00am – 12:00pm or 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Bring a friend to this FREE event. There is no need to register. Childcare will be provided only for the evening workshop in the nursery. Please RSVP to nursery@lakenormanbaptist.com to let us know how many children will need childcare.

VBS Volunteers

Vacation Bible School is July 15th – July 19th this year!

VBS is one of LNBC’s greatest outreach events for our local community and we need you to volunteer!

If you are interested in volunteering for VBS this summer, please attend a meeting on May 20th or June 3rd. Meetings will be held at 11am and 12pm in the Fellowship Room. We hope that you will consider being a part of this great mission effort to bring the Gospel to children and adults in our community.

Blended Families Seminar

The Marriage Wellness Ministry is offering a free class for blended families based on the Ron L Deal book “The Smart Step-Family”. Through eight engaging sessions, you’ll learn useable solutions for everyday living and glean valuable insight and practical tips for raising your step-family the smart-not hard-way. Rick and Gail Myers will be teaching the class.

“The Smart Step-Family” will meet in the Fellowship Hall beginning May 20th through July 8st from 5:00 – 6:30pm. The class is free, but an optional workbook may be purchased for $11. Please contact Rick Myers at rrmyers1@ctc.net for questions.
