Join us Friday, March 23 at 7pm in the gym. Bring your own chair/ blanket to sit on or there will be some chairs in the back of the gym.

The event is free and we will have junk food and drinks!

Thank you LNBC family for your generous gifts to the “Give Us That Mountain” campaign! In April 2010 we had over 300 families pledge to support this campaign. As a result of your faithful giving over the last 20 months, we have reduced our long term debt. This 2 year campaign ends in April of this year.

Ongoing ways to pledge/ give to the campaign:

Contribute by cash or check (made out to LNBC & in the memo write “Mountain Fund”
Contribute online here
Transfer stock and designate it to the Mountain fund (call the church office at 704.892.0143 for guidelines)

Missions Focus: Bread of Life

The Missions Committee focus for the month of February is the Bread of Life Ministry of Lake Norman Baptist Church.

Bread of Life serves free hot meals to those in need in our local community. You can help this wonderful ministry by donating items from the following list:

Pasta- any kind
White or brown rice- minute preferred
Chicken and beef bouillon
Creamed soups
Evaporated and dry milk
Canned vegetables
Corn meal
Bisquick
Margarine
Salt
Vegetable oil and shortening
Stove Top Stuffing Mix and bread crumbs

Please drop off donations at the church office.

Ushers:
LNBC is in great need of ushers for all 3 services. The commitment is only one month a quarter. (This means 4 times a year.) This is a much needed ministry and your service is needed! For questions or to sign up, contact Keith Pickett at (704) 894-0455 or keith3340@aol.com.

Club J (one Sunday a month @ 9:45 a.m.)
Club J, our Children’s Worship service, is in need of additional Worship Leader’s and assistants to help lead worship and teach one Sunday each month at 9:45. If you have a passion for children and would be interested in engaging them in Worship on their level, please contact Janelle Venters at
janelle@lakenormanbaptist.com for more information.

Children’s Sunday School Classes
The Children’s Ministry is in need of a Sunday School teacher to teach 2nd grade at 8:30 every other month, and a 3rd grade teacher at 9:45 to teach every other month. Please contact Phyllis at phyllis@lakenormanbaptit.com for more information.
