Women’s Ministry Resources:
Be Exceptional- LNBC Women’s Ministry
Today’s woman faces challenges in every area of her life: family, career, socially, health, financial, emotional, and spiritual. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming trying to manage it all. This ministry is here to offer hope and support as we encourage women to keep their focus on the cross, on Jesus.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers (sisters), in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:1-2
The First Step
If you do not know Jesus, intimately know Him, you will never find true peace and joy in your life. Many know of Him, but do not know Him personally. If you don’t know Jesus intimately, call out to Him in this prayer:
“Father, you know I am a sinner, and your word, the Bible, tells us that sinners will not go to Heaven but will die. But the good news is that your word also tells us you sent your son Jesus to die in our place and that I can have eternal life if I believe in Him. Lord, I believe you love me so much that you died in my place and then rose again three days later and that you are alive in Heaven. I believe in Jesus, and I want to turn away from my sin and follow Him and accept the gift of the Holy Spirit. Lord, I don’t just want to follow you, I want to know you. I want to know you so intimately that I know the sound of your voice. Help me to know and hear you Lord. Help me to love you more each day by living out your word in my life through the help of the Holy Spirit that lives inside me. I offer my thanks to you and pray this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer for the first time or if you prayed this prayer as a recommitment to God, please let us know. Whether you are new to the church, have been attending for some time now, or you are in the community…we want to celebrate with you and support you in your commitment!
Through bible study, prayer, service, Christian fellowship, and a sincere heart for Christ you will be transformed by the Holy Spirit – whether you are a new Christian or a mature Christian – transformation is continual for those who seek the Lord. “Be exceptional” in this world – motivated and equipped to be on mission for Christ! Through transformation, not only will you and your life be changed, but you will help change the lives of others – in your family, at work, at church, and in the community!

She clothes herself with the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 13:14), with strength and dignity (Proverbs 31:25), and with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (Col 3:12). The beauty of the Lord rests upon her and establishes the work of her hands (Ps. 90:17, NKJV).
