This is an opportunity to discuss and study the Word of God and pray together. Chose which day and time works best for you and lift up your week with your fellow brothers in Christ.

All men, ages 18 and up, are invited to come to our CONNECT17 event – a Men’s Advance to connect with God and with each other. This 1 ½ day outing will strengthen relationships and create new connections among the community of men at Lake Norman Baptist Church. The cost is $75 and includes 1 night’s lodging and all meals. Men today are in a battle. It’s a battle without bullets or bombs, but a battle all the same. It’s a fight for our families and our future. Facing the battles of life demands courage, and courage is the ability to do the hard thing in every circumstance, despite the cost.

Meet the Leader

Sal Sal Ciresi spent a career in the Army as a military officer leading men into challenging situations. Serving as a “missionary at government expense” he has served Christ in numerous communities and environments committed to leading men in their sanctification process in Christ. He has led small groups in study and prayer, discipled one on one, and has participated in conferences focused on men. His passion is to draw all men to a closer relationship with Christ and to each other thru prayer, study of God’s Word, discipleship, small group interaction, and leading by example.
