Recreational Ministries
Adults:
What is Body and Soul? Body and Soul is a non-denominational fitness ministry that incorporates aerobic exercise and strength training with Contemporary Christian music to provide a healthy and worshipful time of fellowship. Body and Soul instructors are certified fitness instructors who present many options to meet the needs of a variety of ages, fitness levels and physical abilities. Daytime and evening classes are available at Lake Norman Baptist Church. Childcare is available for an extra fee at daytime classes. Body and Soul is a year-round ministry broken up into four “sessions” varying in length from eight to twelve weeks (generally based on the public school year). Each session uses different music and routines to keep the exercise program fresh and interesting. Come try out a class – your first one is free just to see if you like it! – At anytime during any of the sessions.
