Children’s Ministry Sunday School Teachers needed for the upcoming 2008-09 church year in the following area: 4th Grade class at 9:45. 

AWANA: Leaders/Teachers needed to help with this Sunday evening ministry for children age 3 thru grade 5. Help needed at all age and grade levels. Contact Phyllis Gordon.

A Family Christmas: December 5-7, 2008. Servant sign-ups have begun! Look for the white sign-up notebook in the Welcome Center, located in the first floor lobby of the Family Life Center.

Nursery:  Need workers for the fall schedule, for ages birth thru age 3, 9:45 and 11:00 am.

Upward Basketball Leadership Team: League leaders needed to help prepare for the upcoming season. Practices begin after Thanksgiving and the first games are in January, but planning begins NOW! A particularly urgent need in preparing for the coming season is a Cheerleader Director to replace Debbie Dorsey. If interested in serving as an Upward Leader, please contact Tim Moody.

Preschool Sunday School: Teachers are needed for the new church year in the following areas:

8:30 am: Two teachers needed in the Two-Year-Olds’ class starting in September. One teacher needed in the Three-Year-Olds’ class starting in October.

9:45 am - Two teachers needed in the Infant class starting in October. One teacher needed in the One-Year-Olds’ class starting in October. Two teachers needed in the Two-Year-Olds' class starting in October.

Worship Kidstyle (formerly Children’s Church): Teachers and  assistants needed for our Sunday morning worship for 4-5 year olds. Contact Phyllis Gordon.

Youth Ministry (Grades 7-12): Need a Sunday School Teacher for 7^th-12^th grade co-ed class at 9:45. Also need a Youth Sunday School Outreach Director and a Director for Sunday Evening Youth Discipleship Classes. Contact Brad Averette.

Communications Ministry: Need people to take photos of new members on Sunday mornings. Help needed at all three services. Camera provided. Please contact Tim Moody.

Food Services: More kitchen help needed to assist with baking for Wednesday evening church dinners and other fellowship activities. Please contact Larry McGraw.

C.A.R.E. Ministry: Meet on Tuesdays in the Fellowship Room to send cards, place phone calls, or make personal visits to those who have recently visited our church or have prayer needs. A free meal is served at 5:30 pm. Inreach/Outreach activities begin at 6:00 pm. Free childcare provided. Please contact Hal Brown.

Childcare workers needed during Tuesday evening C.A.R.E. activities. A meal is provided and the commitment is 2 hours per week, two weeks per month. Please contact Jen Kayser if interested.
